This week, I've been learning about creating fancy graphs in Illustrator. Check out this neat one I made:

I created it by making a graph and inputting the graph data. Then, I created spaceship and a graph, drew a guide line across the jet smoke line, and used the Object>Graph>Design menu to upload my new art. From there, I went into Object>Graph>Column to update the columns in my already made graph. I chose using a sliding design for how we wanted the graph to look. This allowed the smoke line to be stretched where I put the guide line while leaving my spaceship art in place. I put in a starry background. Finally, I ungrouped my graph and made color and font adjustments.
There are all sorts of different ways to play with graphs in Illustrator to showcase your artwork and make the graphs a little more fancy.
