ACC Drama Fade Promotional Materials
The main ACC Drama Production during my Internship was Fade. To promote Fade, I created a video used on the ACC Drama Facebook page and created fliers to promote a panel discussion with the Fade production and creative teams which were used on the ACC Drama Social Media pages and posted around campus.
The Process
For the video, the process was a little different than other design projects. They had a specific formula they wanted me to follow. I needed to learn Adobe Premier Pro, as this was a new tool for me, learn how to add videos, time them to music, and create both the title and ending title slides with some animation.
Animating
I did a few things with animation on this. I had the main Fade logo change hues to give it a flickering feeling and had the bar along the bottom run to give some movement to the title slide. I also had the verbiage fly up on the final slide.
Makers and Methods Flyers
For Fade, they also had a Makers and Methods panel which was part of their a learning workshop series showcased on the ACC Drama YouTube Channel. ACC Drama had me create the flyers, but they wanted them to be similar to past Makers and Methods flyers, with the red curtain background. I didn't have the curtain, so I searched for red curtains photographs to use, laid out the typography, and tweaked so the information could be easily read. I also created this is a poster format and one which was used on social media.
